Why is there a light flashing on top of my Philips Bagless Vacuum Cleaner?

You Philips Bagless Vacuum Cleaner has a sensor with an LED light that could start flashing (see picture below). This is the cleaning indicator. If the indicator is flashing, it means that the filter is getting full. Empty and clean the motor protection filter (behind the dust bucket) to avoid loss of suction power.
